Wave release window

A planned time block when warehouse inventory is released in one replenishment wave to support a specific demand cycle.

Why it matters

Wave release windows make it easier to align inventory movement with live stream peaks instead of replenishing reactively one order at a time.

Example

A warehouse releases one replenishment wave before the afternoon stream and another before the evening peak.
